This is a psychology short film for a class; filming will be 2-3 days around the third week of May.
DIMMED is a short film about a college student named Anna. It’s centered around her and her first year of film school. While trying her best, she feels like the world is out to get her, giving her second thoughts on her major and her happiness. She starts to question her role in her classes and work.

ANNA: MAIN ROLE

AGE: 19- 27
DESCRIPTION: Anna is super awkward, late on social cues, she’s kind of the outcast in a group setting, she’s young and clueless, she is a very hopeful and sweet girl, but for this role, we’re looking for someone who can play a main character but blend into the background.

TONI: CLASSMATE
SOUTHERN ACCENT

AGE-19-27
DESCRIPTION: This character is very sassy, their a social media influencer, their a film major as well, and their kind of standoffish, their ego is huge, they speak their mind.

HEATHER: ROOMMATE
FEMALE
AGE:19-17
DESCRIPTION: Heather is Anna’s roommate, she and Anna are more acquaintances than friends. Heather tries to include Anna in a lot of the things she does, she’s pretty and popular and Anna agrees with a lot of what Heather says to please her.

NICK: FILM STUDENT
MALE
AGE:19-27
DESCRIPTION: Nick and Anna end up in a group project, he’s very much an arrogant guy who isn’t the nicest to Anna in the group project when she comes up with ideas, he’s also cocky, confident, and has a big ego.

MR/MRS LARROW: TEACHER
MALE OR FEMALE
AGE: 25+.
Description: Kind of rude to Anna and dismisses her point of view, Mr/Mrs Larrow is very cocky.
