Perspectives on the child support system and the specific effect and consequences to African-American families. Emphasis on the experience of fathers as participants in the system. Examining the legal challenges, social implications, cultural issues and emotional impacts of navigating the child support system. Subjects include: former Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl receiver Fred Barnett, writer/author Mister Mann Frisby, comedian J’Vonne Pearson, rap artist Freeway, clinical psychologist Dr. Kathleen Walls, Bishop James D. Robinson, Philadelphia Basketball Hall of Fame coach Bill Ellerbee and many more.

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
