Join us as the GPVA (Greater Philadelphia Videography Association) hosts a great evening of discovery as we review strategies and techniques for capturing Christian, Jewish and Indian Weddings. Hear from our panel of seasoned presenters. Share your own advise and ideas! Come ask questions about how to cover different kinds of weddings. Learn how they are the same and different. It is our sincere hope to create a space where we can learn from each other. Always striving for professional excellence!

Christian Ceremony Module:
Dave Williams – CinemaCake

Dave has had a camera in his hand since the days of Super8 in the late 70s when he was the family documentarian. When Dave and his best friend Steve started filming together professionally in 2001, they knew they had something special. Now, with a full staff and over 1000 shoots under their belts, CinemaCake is rich with experience and talent, attracting companies and families from around the country and around the world, to tell their stories. Dave is known for always being on the cutting edge of technology and for being the first to explore something new for the betterment of the industry. He is an educator and an artist, and has inspired many young filmmakers to better their craft. He is as passionate about his work now as he was when he started the business many years ago.

Dharmi Shah – Evening of Elegance

With a background in psychology and counseling, Dharmi decided to start a business at 22 years of age in Wedding & Event Planning! Through the past 12 years her business has changed and evolved and she know owns multiple businesses and is considered an expert in Hospitality and events. She is always growing and changing and looking for new ventures that could excite her and help her grow personally and as an entrepreneur.

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
