Specifically for beginners interested in breaking into the acting market in Philadelphia.

This FREE rarely offered seminar is offered to those that are contemplating diving into the acting industry. Kathy Wickline invites new talent to learn about what it takes to get started and how to do so carefully in an often intimidating business.

Bring your questions and get answers on how to navigate the exciting acting industry here in Philadelphia. After the seminar, Kathy will give you a short script to read, give you feedback, and recommend what steps to take next in your career.

No problem!

If you do not have an acting resume and/or headshot, please submit a short letter of interest in attending that includes your location and contact information. Professional headshots are not required, however if you have a clear and current picture of yourself we ask that you please provide it upon submitting.

If you are selected to receive an invitation, a representative at Wickline Casting will contact you with the time of the event and further information.

Why do you need a professional demo reel?
More than ever there are thousands of media outlets in the digital world that are looking for voice over actors. As a voice over actor, you need a way to promote yourself and showcase your unique voice in a professional, high quality way.
This is a chance to book time with a professional recording artist from East Coast Recording at Wickline Casting. This demo reel will become your resume and will help to open doors for future work.

What’s Included in VO Demo Day?
Grammy Winning producer Jim Cravero will help you select the proper script(s) for your session and produce your demo. He will point out your vocal strengths as well as teach you some insider tips.
Jim will select and insert royalty free music beds and sound effects to be mixed into your demo.
Final high quality audio files will be converted to MP3’s for uploading to the internet and you will end up with 5 separate, professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered voice over demos.

You will be given up to one hour of recording time. It may not take you the full hour to complete your demos depending on skill levels.

This opportunity is geared toward making you the best possible demo reel to compete with any of the top voice over actors in the industry today, and all recording will be done on industry standard recording equipment.

VO Demo day is a unique and wonderful one-time offer. Please sign up today for only $299 ( $20 admin fee). This is a savings of over $200 (typical fees are upward of $500)

Allow up to 1 hour of recording time. You’ll be given a time slot upon registration.

Jim Cravero is a Grammy award-winning producer. He has recorded hundreds of voice-overs in the past 15 years for all types of media including: Television, Radio, Movies, Pod Cast, Audio Books, Museum Tours, Answering Services, Toys, Cartoon Characters, Live Puppet Shows, Corporate Videos, PowerPoint Presentations, Slide Shows, Instructional Videos, Documentaries, Product Tag Lines, Comedians, Website Greetings and many more.

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
