Event Details

Philadelphia Film Community: Join us for “Unblurring the Lines”, a conversation on harassment in our film, TV and media industry.  With the urgency of the #metoo and #timesup movement, we will explore the response to it from SAG AFTRA and other organizations.  Please urge your friends and colleagues of the local film and TV production industry to also attend.  This event will truly be a discussion between panelists and audience.  We can create solutions together.

SAG AFTRA’s Blue Ribbon Commission on Safety aims to provide clear safety guidance to performers in the work environment and in social environments attached to work where harassment frequently occurs.

Panelists include leaders from the media and SAG-AFTRA:
Monica Avery, CBS 3
Adam Moore, SAG-AFTRA, National Director, EEO/Diversity
Mary Cavallaro, SAG-AFTRA, Chief Broadcast Officer
John Wooten, SAG-AFTRA, National Co-Vice Chair, Ethnic Employment Opportunities Committee

Admission FREE.  Please urge your friends and colleagues of the local film and TV production industry to also attend.  This event will truly be a discussion between panelists and audience.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
