Join us as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Rosenwald Fund and introduce a digital public history project about Lessing J. Rosenwald, collector of rare books and prints, who bequeathed the largest gift of art ever donated to the United States.
Abington Art Center is fortunate to inhabit the former Rosenwald estate, Alverthorpe, and its mission for social engagement and respect for the arts is inspired by the history of this remarkable family.

5:00-7:00 p.m. | Screening of the film, Rosenwald at the Hiway Theater

(Movie Only tickets are available for $10)

7:00-10:00 p.m. | Cocktails and Dinner at Alverthorpe Manor

Business Attire | Reception in the Pavilion, dress for the weather

Shuttle bus will be provided from Abington Art Center to and from Hiway Theater

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
