Event Details

The Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival’s CineMondays 2018 series will premiere THE COUSIN, an Official Selection of the Venice International Film Festival. Writer/director Tzahi Grad’s darkly comic thriller follows the relationship of a well-intentioned Palestinian handyman (Ala Dakka) and his liberal-leaning Israeli employer (Grad) after a neighborhood girl reports being sexually assaulted. Evoking some comparisons to Jordan Peele’s 2017 hit Get Out, THE COUSIN is an edge-of-your-seat genre-bender that is guaranteed to get audiences talking.
