SJ Screenwriters: CREATIVE CRAFT LECTURE: PREWRITING

Please join us on Tuesday May 9th from 7pm-9pm at the McCowan Memorial Library in Pitman, NJ. From 7:00-7:30pm, you can network with your fellow screenwriters and filmmakers. Then at 7:30pm, the craft lecture will begin on Prewriting. Most professional screenwriters spend a significant amount of time thinking about their concept, characters, plot and theme before they even begin writing. From mind mapping to outlining, from treatments to beginning with the pitch, we will explore the different processes of prewriting and their potential benefits. After the lecture there will be time for Q&A.
