qFLIX Philadelphia 2018 is proud to present our opening night Black Tie Gala to be held at two fabulous venues on one spectacular night.

We begin our evening on the red carpet at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for the Philadelphia premiere of “Hello Again,” a critically acclaimed LGBTQ+ musical for the big screen, at 6:30.

The opening night Black Tie Gala continues with a trip up to the Observation Deck on the 57th Floor of Liberty Place, We will celebrate among the stars with a 360-degree view of the city.

You will enjoy a “Taste of Philly,” which includes magnificent fair from local top Philadelphia kitchens, an open bar, along with musicians from the best of Philadelphia, and a who’s who guest list you’ll not want to miss!

Come join the stars and celebrate to great diversity that is the LGBTQ+ community.

qFLIX Philadelphia 2018 marks 24th years of tradition with this groundbreaking musical from director Tom Gustafson(“Were the World Mine”) featuring a star-studded cast including Audra McDonald and Cheyenne Jackson, both of whom have been invited to receive qFLIX Artistic Achievement Awards in Acting, alongside Gustafson who will be presented with the qFLIX Artistic Achievement Award in Directing as part of the Opening Night ceremony.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
