WHAT IT IS
Pottstown In Focus Short Film Festival is a new event soliciting short film submissions from entrants across the country and around the world. The challenge for filmmakers is that each thirty-minute or shorter film must have as its character, theme, setting or inspiration, the revitalizing Borough of Pottstown, Pennsylvania– a town with renewed focus.

WHO IT’S FOR
Part of Pottstown’s adjusted focus is on involving everyone in the community– all residents, business owners and stakeholders in the transformation of the town and the Pottstown In Focus Short Film Festival offers something for everyone.

Never heard of Pottstown? Doesn’t matter. Lived in Pottstown all of your life but never made a movie? This is your chance! We’re encouraging everyone, everywhere to get involved in the Pottstown In Focus Short Film Festival…

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

{1} All films may not exceed 30 minutes in length and must be submitted online in a digital format.

{2} All films must have some, no matter how modest and/or creative, connection to Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

{3} All films, including their stories, footage and soundtrack, should be the original work of the creator and not violate any copyright issues.
