The Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival is thrilled to announce the full programming line-up for the 2nd annual Festival, which returns to the City of Brotherly Love during the first weekend of April (April 6 – 8), at the Prince Theater in downtown Philadelphia.

The 2018 Festival includes participation by 11 female filmmakers, a Student Short Film Competition sponsored by Drexel University, many post-screening Q&As with filmmakers, as well as an Opening Night Red Carpet Reception & Dinner.

Weekend passes and single tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on the Festival website or in person at the Prince Theater box office (1412 Chestnut Street; open Mon. – Sat. noon to 5:00 pm).

Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival brings the planet to Philadelphia through the power of environmental films. The Festival showcases exceptional new shorts and features about the beauty and fragility of the earth that entertain, inform, and inspire personal action.

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
