Join us for the premiere screening of nine new documentaries produced by community groups in Philadelphia, Coatesville and Chester in collaboration with Scribe Video Center. The works include documentaries on Atkinson Memorial Hospital in Hayti/Coatesville, Bethel Burying Ground in Southwark/Queen Village, the Chinese Cultural Center in Chinatown, Church of the Advocate in North Philadelphia, Monument Cemetery in North Philadelphia, Painted Bride Art Center in Old City, Paul Robeson House in West Philadelphia, and St. Peter Claver Church in Washington Square West/Center City.

Scribe Video Center’s Precious Places program is a regional community history project revealing neighborhood sites as bright landmarks that surprise and inspire residents and visitors alike through documentaries made by those who know the places the best.

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
