Event Details

Step back in time to enjoy a Special Evening with “George Washington’s Army and Me” Filmmakers and Emmy Winning Chef Walter Staib at the Famous Historical City Tavern In Philadelphia!

This is a Fundraising Event to support the production of our feature film George Washington’s Army and Me, Elijah’s Long Journey Home. A Family-Friendly, Adventurous, at time Humorous story about Family, Freedom and Home! Donations are tax deductible.

As you enter the building you will be met by a Harpist strumming tunes of the 18th Century as scents of colonial cuisine fill the air. Each of Historical City Tavern’s 10 rooms brings its own adventure and a new dish to explore (with some pit stops for libations along the way).

As you travel through the Tavern you will meet the Paterson Family; Elijah, Eli and Maggie enjoying a game of Draughts around the family table! Stop and play a game with Elijah!

Milling about you will find George the Camp Tailor, Young Jeremiah – Elijah’s camp friend, Mary Hays aka Mollie Pitcher, Joseph Martin Plumb, Lt Col. Alexander Hamilton and British Captain Thomas Sandford!

Say hello to the Filmmakers who will excitedly describe the vision of their historical feature film project and opportunities to support the film.
