ACTING WORKSHOP FOR COMMERCIAL, TV and FILM WORKSHOP
Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (part of the Summer Adult Enrichment Workshop Series)
321 E. 3rd Street, Bethlehem PA
Session Time: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30pm
Start Date: July 18, 2017 (this workshop runs for three consecutive Tuesdays)

Taught by Ann Gillette who has worked in the casting and production industry for more than twenty years, and who has worked on over 600 commercial, industrial, television and film projects, this workshop is designed to introduce the theater or beginning actor to the on-camera acting industry. Participants will work in front of the camera each week, with a variety of scripts from actual auditions. Coaching and critique will be offered in each session. Participants will also learn how to navigate the commercial, television and film market- including the local regional market (Philadelphia, etc.), as well as, the New York and LA market. Topics covered include: cold read techniques- commercial, hosting, scene auditions for tv and film, industry audition and set protocols, working with agents/managers/casting directors, headshots & resumes, pay rates/contracts/usage, understanding what clients are really looking for at auditions, and more!

Open to adults 18 .

The Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO) is a "film commission" representing southeastern Pennsylvania that officially serves the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

We are a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI). GPFO, first established in 1985 as a part of Philadelphia city government, continues to reside within city offices.

In 1992, we became a regional economic development agency, incorporating in 2000 as the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
