Join us on Monday, February 26th, for our Filmmakers @ the Prince series event with filmmaker Jillian Bullock and Brian Anthony Wilson, actor in her latest project A Cup Full of Crazy! Our guests provide insights into the process of getting projects to audiences from conception to distribution, and the unique challenges faced by black women filmmakers and black male actors of a certain age.
We’ll dive deep into the storytelling process of creating A Cup Full of Crazy, how Brian’s character fits into the story and how the subject matter, mental health, is of particular concern in the Black community, remaining taboo in many circles. A Cup Full of Crazy is a psychological thriller that tells the story of an Oscar-winning screenwriter coming off of a mental breakdown. We will also talk about other tough subject matter that might be tackled by Black storytellers from a different angle than artists of other cultures.
Jillian Bullock is a filmmaker, screenwriter, fight choreographer, boxer and MMA specialist.
Brian Anthony Wilson is an actor with credits in Creed, Ocean’s 8, Gotham, and How to Get Girls among many others.
