Student film shooting on a Monday, February 12th, and potentially Monday, February 19th or February 26th.
Volunteer, will be compensated with food and drink, must be 18+.
Main roles, Reagan and Cassidy, and 5-7 extras will be needed for 1-2 shooting days.
Shooting location will be a cafe in Kensington.
Description:
The Reunion is about Reagan and Cassidy, two old friends who haven’t seen each other since high school. They meet at their hometown’s local coffeeshop to catch up and attempt to rekindle their friendship.
Characters:
Reagan, late 20s to early 30s, is a fairly renowned comic book creator, and she’s worked hard to get where she is. From her perspective, she and Cassidy didn’t have a very healthy relationship in high school. Cassidy was always very assertive and self-absorbed, and Reagan was compliant and did whatever Cassidy wanted. Since graduating, Reagan has developed her personality and opinions and grown into herself, she is hesitant when Cassidy reaches out about meeting up.
Cassidy, late 20s to early 30s, works a corporate office job. She is a decent employee, but she believes that she works harder and does more for the company than anyone else at her location. Since she was young, she has always believed her own opinions, thoughts and beliefs to be the most important, and often thinks of herself first. She learns that one of her favorite actors is working on a new movie, and recognizes the name of one of the people on development as her old high school friend, Reagan. She decides to try and reach out to see if she might have a chance of meeting the actor.
The extras can be any age above 18, coffee shop goers.
