Student Film being shot April 7-9 in Philadelphia.
I Was Born Into It is a story of growing up and betrayal. I Was Born Into It is a non-Union, undergraduate Haverford student film. This is a non-paying job. However, actors will be given a copy of the completed film and will be provided with meals.
Auditions will be held March 23 and 24. Actors will be seen for the following roles:
OLIVIA (15-17) – female lead. A high school student, strong and independent. She is going through a hard time after her father’s chemotherapy and turns to a family friend, Mr. Doyle, for advice about her love life.
MR. DOYLE (45-50) –male lead. A schoolteacher, who is a very close friend of the Wallace family. Olivia has grown up thinking of him and his wife as a second set of parents. Mr. Doyle does not want to believe that he is getting older and keeps hanging out with Olivia as if they are peers.
MR. WALLACE (60s) – Supporting role. Olivia’s father, principle of the high school Olivia goes to and Mr. Doyle works at. Mr. Wallace devoted his whole life to the school. The world revolves around him. Everyone loves Mr. Wallace and is really worried about his health.
