Filmmaker SpotlightFilmmaker Sara Lynn Krupnick Born and raised in North East Philadelphia and currently, a senior at Temple University's School of Communication and Theater with a major in Film and Media Arts and a minor in Anthropology. Sara Lynn has been making movies since high school and loves the energy and atmosphere on the film set. She wants to make movies upon graduation, but depending on the economic weather, she may not get out into the corporate or independent film making arena for another two years. Of course, she would much rather begin her film making career in May, but her mother advises her to continue with her degree in Anthropology. All of her Anthropology professors would also agree with her, but Sara Lynn, she wants to make movies. Her latest project Puncture is a screenplay written and directed by her and is about the latest trend, vampire allure with a twist of female empowerment. This film is the product of the Senior Thesis Film Projects Program, a tough program that is both grueling and rewarding.The film is in its pre-production stages and she is now attempting to fund it. She recently had a fund raiser party and has applied for 5 recent scholarships through the School of Communication.
